P.S. I love You......

OMG....Sunday already. I'm soooo sad to say the days went by too quickly and I havent been able to scrap yet. :(

SO DH is over at the driving school taking a 6 hr class for that 10% off and I decided to pop in a movie. DH already told me he didnt want to see it because he knows it's sad. (He really means he just hates seeing me cry) SO I pop a movie in and start folding laundry and all I can say is.....

I cried throughout most of the movie and it had me glued. I never just sit and watch a movie...i scrap and watch a movie or fold lauundry or SOMETHING....this time i just cried and watched. it's such a good movie and made me really think of how much of a masochist I really am.

Alexis shares the same trait too. she sat down and said "mom, I really like sad movies, too"

SO ask me will I ever watch the movie again? even though my eyes are so dry from crying? you bet i would. Such a pretty story.

highly reccommend it.

toodles!

well, My good Buddy Astrid had wanted to help me in bible study and learning new verses....Trust me I need the push...and well she picked a verse for us to memorize and well, I got it...I just keep forgetting which Corinthians it's at!

"For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength."

1 Cor. 1:25

next verse will be mine to pick and I have to tell poor Astrid I will get it a lot quicker than the 2 months or better it took me to fumble along with this one. :O

Ta ta for now!!!

Have you ever read something that touched you so

deeply? it just stays with you and even brings a tear to your eyes?

OK, if you know me personally you know I am such a sentimental person, I cry at anything. yep, I cried hard at the end of "the Notebook", That Nicholas Sparks!

well, I first heard this poem while watching "In her Shoes". I am a huge Cameron Diaz Fan. anyways getting off track a bit the poem her character read just hit me, it's so beautiful! SOOOO I googled EE Cummings the very next day and printed a copy, for me to read when I felt sappy.

Can I share it?

i carry your heart with me by E. E. Cummings

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Say What????

Hey it's Friday!!!!

well...no reason for me to be all chirpy, we have foggy weather today, already ran to see all 3 teachers for the 3 older terrors...we had early AM appointments for conferences. got good news.

Last night instead of laundry and cleaning I got a LO done. hey, I was in the mood to scrap and got this one done:

Say What?:

Say What?

My teeniest terror. The girl has been saying tons of funny things lately. I just had to scrap this latest one. It's normally on how a typical morning goes.

As she is leaving for the bus I shout out a goodbye and tell her to be a good girl and tell her I love her and will miss her. She then says her goodbye along with a question. "will you cry for me, mommy?" she asks this just to assure herself of how much she will be missed. Silly goose. :)

getting over the hump

Happy hump wednesday!

I am a bit chirpy today. I got to scrap last night. I didnt get much done, just 2 pages but I did get to use my birthday gifts!!!

My birthday isn't for another week and a half but DH was too excited to give me my gift...LOL!

anwyays, I got my 2 girls scrapped. wanna see????

this one is my baby girl on her class trip. I used a pretty Debbie Gaydos sketch. you can go to allyscraps and find a thread just on her sketches! I love them!

Pumpkin:

pumpkin

here I used MAMBI paper, I love how bright it is. It's old but sooo pretty.

I was searching my computer for pix of my older kids because I keep scrapping my little terrors. :/

I found this:

Undeniably You

undeniably you

even though the girl is sucking on a ring pop, my eyes go straight to those gorgeous eyes of hers and her apple cheeks.

This LO was done for the AD This! challenge. I Love the ad chosen and even though it had a masculine feel to it, I was able to soften it up enough to make it a girly page. the twist was to add fabric. I took apart an old shirt for it's pretty ribbon. :) Also used was this week's color combo challenge.

I also used prima fabric flowers.

I cannot believe....

that I won!!!!

LOL....

last night I got home from work and decided to check my email. There I got the news that I won the very first challenge over at Ad This! SO not only do I get a yummy prize, I get to be guest designer!!!! yipee!!!!

SOOOO I got the challenge in my email and my mind is spinning wonderfully from stuff I want to do. I really want to go shopping too that usually peps up my creativity but I don't think it's realistic now....:(

I am still sooo very happy!

I cleaned up my blog a bit. I had long lists of stuff and just decided well, if I don't participate much, take them off.

tonight i have some LOs I'd like to work on, I have fabu Debbie Gaydos Sketches and pencil lines to work with. I also found an older photo of my 2 oldest terrors.

well, ta- ta for now. enough gibber jabber.

a good chuckle......

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).

To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.

He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

There are teachers . . . and then there are educators.

I gotta thank my good friend Astrid for sending me this. Made me laugh my butt off!

Annie Blackberry loves Licorice Allsorts!

Here are some of the pieces I've done lately - would love your feedback on them!

randomly blogging....

hiyeee!!!!

it's been over a week since I have been able to do much scrap wise....so I am more than thrilled to be posting 2 LOs I had a chance to squeeze into my hectic life. :O :)

one I did using this color combos challenge and a pencil line sketch... i missed last week's. :(

it's also for design X: scrap what makes you happy. so, DH and teeniest terror were my subject. they always seem to make a funny face at the most unexpected moment, say something funny....you get the gist.

Good 4 the soul:

good for the soul

this other LO I made for a new challenge blog my scrappy friend Susan let me know about. she made DT!!!! :) check them out. they're on the side.... ------->

me and teeniest again. it seems I scrap her sooooo much more than the other ones. she's just around me a whole lot more. I need to get better about trying to have my camera around more often. Sassy took this photo of us....not all that clear but I think she captured the love which made it a fave of mine. it's all about how she's the baby of 4 and how glad I am she's the baby or else I wouldve stopped at just one. she's a handful!!!! LOL!

Birth Order:

birth order

that's it for now. I'm going to pop in a movie to watch with DH. Some cuddle time!!!
