just popping in to tell you all about my week!
I have to tell you, life is anything BUT boring. I was sick all week long. Seems like I caught a throat infection. I couldn't eat, swallow, everything hurt. I was so dizzy and tired.
Then a wisdom tooth wanted to poke through. OK, I already had 3 pop out, what's a fourth. No biggie...WRONG! Before it started to fully break through, it caused an infection. My whole right side swelled up...I was in so much pain!
This little booger caused me so much trouble! I had a hard time finding an oral surgeon who accepted my insurance, then when DH found a couple they were booked til April. One look at my swollen face and he said "oh no...." We got one who had availability, but we had to pay to get it done. The procedure was soooo quick. And let me tell you, I scared myself by looking up wisdom teeth extractions online...don't do it! I once had a co-worker whose jaw got broken by a dentist who tried removing his wisdom tooth...and that had me all panicked as well. This gentle Doc was done in under 30 seconds. I felt some pressure, him scrape something, suctioning, and then he tells me to bite down after shoving gauze in and starts giving me instructions! I was like wait a minute...was he able to get it done?
I'm not the only one losing teeth....
The tooth fairy has been really busy at my house. Although my big huge tooth didn't get me anything but pain....LOL.....but Nani's hit the mother lode. I can still catch her trying to wiggle more teeth loose so she can get more money.
I'm back at work today...yes, looking like a chipmunk with one side of my face all puffy, slurring words...but every time someone comes in, they mention how they were wondering about me! LOL. Hopefully, next week will be a slower one......
