PT and boxing;=)

Hi all and happy friday to you;=)

Really cold in all of Sweden at the moment but blue sky and a lovely sun so cant complain.

Today me and Lise, my dear PT had our 1 hour long exercise and today she had made a great workout for my shoulders and upper body. I have as a goal to get stronger upper body and more toned shoulders and arms and I asked Lise to do some boxing exercises and so we did today. I found boxing to be so fun and I got a lot of aggressions out and that´s something I need;=)

So what we did today was:
5 min fast power walk on the tread mill
followed by
5 min crosstraining with the resistance level on 8-10

then I did 8 different exercises in a row 3 times with a short break after every circle.
The exercises were:

Boxing - normal straight strikes forward for 45 seconds
then directly:
stomach/core exercise with a 10 kilo weight starting with bent knees while having the weight on one side, then while extending the legs forward and holding my balance, changing sides for the weight. Then back again and so on for 45 seconds

directly followed by:
boxing upper cuts for 45 seconds
then directly to:
using a medicine ball and with a volleyball grip, throwing it up over my head and down for 445 seconds

then directly:
boxing sideways with elbows out for 45 seconds
then directly:
the plank with a boxing glove on the back as a little weight for 45 seconds

then directly:
boxing high up over Lises head (for the shoulders) for 45 seconds
then directly:
one weigh in each hand and sideways lift out and up to exercise the shoulders.

This circle was one and after this some rest and water and then go again 2 more times before stretch.

I assure you, it was SO much fun and I really love to have a PT and can recommend it to everyone!

Now - shower and then I need to go and buy new exercising clothes for the coming months of fun PT training! Next time with Lise is on monday at 11;=)

Thanks Lise - you´re the best!
