This was not good, not good at all. The glasses clearly hadn't fallen off a shelf—they were in the middle of the room. The X was shaky, like the hand that had drawn it could barely hold the chalk.
I, personally, think that that is a fabulous excerpt right there. I could be biased since I chose it and all. But don't you think that it is so fabulously creepy?
