this weekend I didn't get much scrappy stuff done. :( or much cleaning I'm afraid....
Aaron's birthday was on Friday, my big boy is NINE...."eek!!!!"Then he had a game, and Sunday was church...we also had our good friends Eric and Astrid over with their little Darling baby! we always have a fun time!!!!
this "gone fishing" LO was for a sketch challenge by Deb over at Allyscraps. I love her sketches!!!! I always manage to get in more than one photo thanks to her :)

I multi-tasked this one. I loved the colors chosen for color combos gallore so I did another LO. This one is also for dreamgirls challenge #2, Get real. you need to use a reality show title, felt, and stamp.
I love how this one came out. I cut out the "frame" out of patterned paper, K&CO urban rhapsody is such a pretty line. I kept this pretty simple because well...I wanted that "frame" to pop!!!!
Jr doesnt know it but he's already a super hero! In his children's eyes there is NOTHING he can't do. I often joke around with him when he overdoes things that He's NOT superman....but he truly is.
Anaïs in acronyms......
when I first started scrapping I did Alexis' name in acronyms and never really got around to doing my other kids. well one weekend I finally did. and it felt good!!!!
So I have to dig up Alexis....BUT here is Ana. I wanted to do a brightly colored LO for her since the girl is always sunshine and happiness. I would LOVE to know what she thinks...I picture bright sunshiney thoughts with rainbows and hearts thrown in.

well, it's official....my daughter is weird!!!! The girl was excited about going fishing with her daddy early this AM...she rushed to get ready and even skipped breakfast!!!! :O
She came back after scaring away the fish...she kept jerking the pole up and down yelling "fish Alert!!!!" but had extreme fun....poking around for WORMS of all things...the disgrace of it all. Good thing mommy made dad take the camera...Alexis, this is one for the boyfriends!

I created this Layout last night for Janet's challenge blog. Since Jr's clothes pretty much matched the new color combo I decided what the heck.... click on the link for the whole LO....IDK why it cuts off....
This photo was taken on his birthday last week. He was going on and off about what he wanted to do...at the last minute he decided we'll go out. Men....LOL.

I thought that quote was perfect for the feelings I wanted to convey to him...even though all he complaint about was " I look so Fat". Gotta love a man who gains sympathy weight with his wife, ladies!!!! Every pregnancy he did it...and everytime I fight to lose it, he's there with me...working hard. Now that's gotta be LOVE!!!!

a layout completed for Janet's blog, color combos galore. This photo I took when we drove across the bridge to take My BIL and SIL to the metro north. we had no idea there was a park nearby with a pretty view of our hometown.
So here we go.......
I am sooo new at this....it's not even funny. I thought about maybe starting a blog for family and see how it went...just so we can feel caught up a bit and maybe show off some layouts I have completed. it'll be pretty plain for now since I have no idea how to add stuff on....:rolling eyes here:

I always loved going to look and see what new has been added to the gallery, what new challenge or sketch has been added since time seems to fly by for me....and now it's just been blah. I did manage to make a LO for Janet's color challenge blog. I adore the colors she combined....those are colors I like but would've never thought to combine them all...... as soon as I can figure out how to post my layouts, I will! I promise!!!! :)
